Textiles have an important place in our living environments. They were one of the earliest forms of artistic expression of mankind and still many beautiful pieces remain. We want to generate an interest and understanding for valuable textiles so these can continue being a part of our everyday lives. Only through an appreciation for their value and beauty can we ensure their preservation for the future and the continued use of textiles as a form of artistic expression also by younger artist.
